I’m applying for a ton of regular office jobs since the Pro-Domme thing hasn’t exactly worked out to be a financial win for me. They say it takes time to build up a clientele and that eventually, I can make a decent living, but I want more than that. I want to make an amazing living doing stuff I enjoy, being challenged by my coworkers, getting recognized by my supervisors and overall felling like I’m making a contribution to the company that will become my second (third?) family. Le sigh … Wish me luck even though you don’t want me to go. With tax time around the corner, my checking account is about to go into the red and I really need to get a steady gig before then.

Last night’s TES presentation on Rape went really well. I was rather nervous at the beginning but I loosened up a few minutes in and just started talking about me, my past and my perceptions and the audience was very receptive. Daddy asked me to audio-record the talk for Flagg and for Power-In-Practice. The group didn’t object so we’ll be putting my part of the presentation online for ya’ll to hear in the next few days. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the class a lively, interactive discussion instead of a dull, one-way lecture.
A few months ago, I spent a few days house/dog-sitting for two of my Mom’s friends. Now, since I’m still technically unemployed, I’m doing it again until Tuesday. It’s kinda weird poking around in someone else’s house. It reminds me of when I used to babysit as a tweener. After I put the kids down, I would look thru all the kitchen drawers and cabinets just to see where they put stuff and how that was different from where I would put stuff if it were my place. Course, since I’m a perv, I’d also look for porn and condoms and whatever else I could find. 
I thought I was soooo smart putting everything back the way I found it exactly but those people probably had nanny-cams and saw every move I made when they got home. I’m not sure which is worse - going thru someone’s stuff while they’re not home or watching someone go thru your stuff while you were out and having paid them a nice hourly rate to boot! Sometimes I feel like I should have a My-Name-Is-Earl kind of list but then I think it’s probably better to just leave the past in the past and move on. At least now I don’t steal stuff from the houses I am supposed to be watching. I guess that’s an improvement. Right?

I was supposed to go to a really cool sex party Tuesday night in the city and work at Rapture Wednesday before going to Red Lobster with Kimi for V-Day but due to the impending snow/sleet/ice storm, I’m probably staying home. Wahhh!

Tonight I’m heading to TES to give a talk on Sex & The Switch.
Tomorrow I’ve got a doc appt in North Jersey followed by dinner with Daddy David and then the monthly TES Board of Directors meeting at Purple Passion.
Friday I’m taking sessions at Rapture from 12 to 7pm before going to the DSF meeting at Paddles. After the meeting, I’m going to visit Daddy David.
Saturday I’m planning to attend the 2007Â NYC Bootblack Roundtable at the LGBT from 2 - 5pm. After I might hit a bar with the boys, go to a restaurant with some friends or just collapse from exhaustion. We’ll see how it goes.
If you’ve been watching my webcam, you’ll have noticed I turned the small loveseat in my office into a poor excuse for a bed. I did this because my bedroom has 2 exterior walls, one of which faces south, and it’s freezing in there! My office also has 2 exterior walls but they face east and north so the sun comes in and the winds don’t hit as much. My cats are very confused and my back is killing me but I’m warm and that’s all my lizard-brain cares about right now. Summer - hurry up and get here already!!!
This will be a much longer post at some point but not now. Now, I’m going to sleep and hope the snow/ice/sleet passes us by without doing too much damage. Suffice to say I had a really good time with Jefferson today. With any luck, I’ll be doing it again in the not-so-distant future. Next time I’ll have to remember the tylenol and my knee brace!
